The official theme of the Mini World Youth Day:

“Young man I say to you, arise.

Stand up”

Luke 7: 11-17, Acts 26: 16

God our Father, we thank you for the gift of life and our youthfulness. Send us Your Holy Spirit so that we may be enabled to rise up and to become the guiding light to those around us.

Lord Jesus, ever young, our brother, friend and companion, alive in your Church, help us to respond to the call you make to each of us. Help us to follow you with generous hearts in the service to others.

We pray for wisdom of heart and protection from every danger that we, young people, face in today’s world. May the peace and unity of the Risen Lord gather all people together into one family of God’s children.

Through our participation in the Mini World Youth Day, help us to prepare ourselves well to meet you, our Savior, by repenting from our sins, receiving forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, sharing the Word of God in worshipping community of Young People, and thus becoming truly your missionary disciples.

May we be open to meet you in the Eucharist we share, the Word we hear and the praises we sing. Help us to be a true evangelizing community serving God, humanity and all creation.

Grant this through Christ our Lord, Amen

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help us experience your merciful love. Mary Our Mother, intercede for us.

St John Bosco, pray for us.

Blessed Benedict Daswa, pray for us.
